WHAT DO YOU MEAN “NO QUESTIONS ASKED! ”?
No one will ask you any questions at all, not even your name. An employee of an emergency service provider can not demand or require that you answer their questions before they take your newborn. It is against the law for someone to make you answer any questions while you are giving up your baby. This law is not intended to refuse or reject a biological parent who wants to give up their baby. However, if the baby appears to have been harmed you are required by law to give your name, refusal can lead to being put in jail. If you want to volunteer information about you, your health, your family or the baby you can. If you would like to write a letter or leave a note for the baby so he can read it when it gets older you can.
